Biography
I am working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Food Engineering at Middle East Technical University in Ankara, Turkey. I earned my Ph.D. in Food Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2023, where I conducted research in the laboratory of Dr. Eric A. Decker and subsequently continued as a Postdoctoral Research Associate. My research focuses on lipid chemistry, lipid oxidation, antioxidants, bioactive lipids, emulsions, and advanced chromatographic techniques.
