Biography

Currently, I am a PhD candidate in the Educational Administration and Planning program, with a primary focus on the economics of education. That is a field that captivates me for its holistic approach to educational systems, integrating economic perspectives and methodologies with educational research.

To advance my work, I conducted research at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), at the Chair of Public Management and Public Finance, supported by TÜBİTAK, which funded approximately a year of my dissertation studies abroad.

At present, I work as a research assistant in the Department of Educational Sciences at Middle East Technical University. My research examines the economics of education, educational and science policy, higher education, organizational management, and internationalization, investigating how intersections between research and policy can generate meaningful societal impact.
