Özet:Pipeline and storage network design problem is to design a pipeline network with its constituting arcs and their capacities to meet natural gas demands of the cities, while minimizing the total cost of the system. Storage nodes are included in the network structure to store the natural gas in cases of insufficient supply. Models for the deterministic and stochastic versions of the problem are designed. The deterministic model is solved with the Benders Decomposition method. Three different versions of Benders decomposition are used. For the stochastic model, two-stage stochastic programming is used. Computational experiments are performed on randomly generated problem instances. A case study for the Turkish pipeline system is also analyzed.
