In addition, a pilot study is conducted with three early childhood educators. The findings of the study showed that all of the participants use at least one social media platform. Most of the participants have positive attitudes towards social media. They use several social media platforms, and they find social media necessary and beneficial in both personal and professional life. In their professional life, participants use social media in preparing activities for daily program, parent involvement, and using social media as an educational tool. Moreover, most of the participants do not hesitate to be ‘friend’ with their colleagues because they see their colleagues as real friend. However, they generally do not be friends with the parents of the children on social media because of professional reasons.
