Özet:

The organic-inorganic perovskite solar cells have received tremendous attention due to their high power conversion efficiency and cost-effective fabrication. For inverted planar structures, the hole transport materials (HTMs) play a significant role in achieving efficient and hysteresis-free perovskite solar cells by improving charge extraction, minimizing interfacial recombination and modifying the band alignment. In this thesis, solution-processed nickel oxide (NiOx) and manganese doped nickel oxide (Mn:NiOx) thin films were deposited with a post-deposition heat treatment in the range of 300 – 450 oC and effects on the structural, optical and electrical properties, as well as photovoltaic performance of perovskite solar cell, were investigated. Manganese (Mn) doped NiOx thin film was produced to enhance the charge extraction capability of NiOx without compromising the optical properties. Nickel (II) acetate tetrahydrate and different amounts of manganese (II) acetate tetrahydrate salts were used to prepare Mn:NiOx precursor solutions. For characterization, X-ray diffraction, Uv-Vis Spectroscopy, X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy, I-V, and external quantum efficiency (EQE) measurements were performed. It was demonstrated that the Mn doping into NiOx thin films enhances the perovskite solar cell efficiency and minimizes hysteresis.
