Özet:This thesis aims to show that MST and EZLN are non-hierarchical, participatory and democratic movements which aim to transform society and national systems without taking power. Their understanding of power is searched in their educational practises. These two movements try to create new alternatives that based on local issues and powers with also awareness of international and global factors. The clues of their understanding of power searched in their history and different resistances struggles.
