Özet:The nature of the construction sector makes the management in this field very complex. Therefore, the executives are pressurized to explore new techniques with the purpose of increasing the efficiency of management of the companies. Although it is originally developed to study the topics related to the social sciences, the applicability of the Social Network Analysis (SNA) to various fields gave rise to its utilization in the construction industry in the recent years. In this manner, the administrative bodies could make managerial improvements by creating a new point of view with the help of SNA. However, these kind of studies are relatively unrecognized in the Turkish construction sector. Therefore, it is aimed to overcome this situation by making a contribution with a case study which deals with the collaborative behaviors of Turkish contractors in the international projects. The data were obtained from Turkish Ministry of Economy and they were used to analyze the partnerships of the Turkish contractors. Moreover, the attitudes of the companies in various types of project networks were also examined. Obtained international projects were classified based on their budgets and the related markets of these projects. In this way, the general and individual performances of Turkish contractors in these networks were investigated and various comments were drawn. Finally, these outcomes were interrogated by experts to check their validity.
