Abstract

The work presents results of calculation of a spherical microwave discharge characteristics in an argon at atmospheric pressure against the external parameters (the mode, frequency and power of the applied electromagnetic field and the size of the discharge chamber). Model assumes a thermal and ionization non-equilibrium of discharge plasma and takes into account first three modes of incident electromagnetic waves.
