Abstract
We developed a low-cost SERS substrate using laser-carbonized poly-oxydiphenylene-pyromellitimide (polyimide) and gold nanoparticles. This hybrid suppresses fluorescence and enhances Raman signals. Tested with Rhodamine 6G, it reveals high signal-to-noise ratio peaks, offering a practical, scalable solution for in-situ molecular sensing.
