This study explores the phenomenon
of student evaluation of teaching at tertiary level. Semi-structured interviews
were conducted with three students who were identified as rich sources of
information by their professors. The study revealed although they believed in
its benefit, students had a negative attitude towards the evaluation process.
This presentation will discuss factors
shaping their decisions and their suggestions.
