Özet

We report a compact dual-FOV imaging system design using Zemax OpticStudio for the MWIR (3.4–5.0 μm) intended for long-range electro-optical surveillance and target acquisition. The architecture combines a Cassegrain front section with a moving all-spherical refractive relay, providing 800 (f/5.33) and 1200 mm (f/8.00) effective focal lengths from a fixed 150 mm entrance pupil within a 264 mm total track. The system is thermally stable over the temperature values between –40°C and +60°C. The design is diffraction limited in both configurations and over the full thermal range. In addition, the system has RMS wavefront errors of 0.010 waves for WFOV and 0.018 waves for NFOV, well below the Maréchal criterion.
