Özet
Turbulent temperature fluctuations are studied in a turbulent flow at elevated temperatures where the dynamic and thermal turbulence are generated by a perforated plate in a cylindrical tube. A comparison is made with a generally used analogy between dynamic and thermal turbulent fields, under the passive contaminant hypothesis for temperature. The influence of the mean temperature increase on the thermal field is investigated. In particular, it is observed that the temperature fluctuations spectra become more dissipative in nature with increasing mean temperature.
