Potential adopters of a new technology
(e.g. RFID) must account for various factors, such as uncertainties, steep
starting costs, and network effects, while making the investment decision, and
hence may be hesitant. Here we address these dynamics by studying the
interaction between a technology vendor and potential adopters.
