Özet
With the recent technological improvements in all kinds of data recording instruments, the era of big data has revolutionized the Earth Sciences from the data-poor field to the data-rich field [22]. This blast in the volume of data has resulted in an urgent call from the Earth System Sciences Community on how to improve accuracy, enhance the level of model intelligence, scale up operations, and reduce cost against the continuous and exponentially growing size of the retrieved datasets [44]. The parallel developments in the storage capacity and computational power offer immense potential for the implementation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) methods in the various fields of Earth Sciences [22, 44].
