Özet
Ground motion intensities depend on source, site and path effects. Although ground motion prediction equations are used to represent the attenuation of intensities with distance, they may fail to capture the local site effects. Spatial correlation models are introduced to overcome this issue. Geostatistical methods are employed to correct intensities that vary spatially. Semivariogram is used herein as a tool for spatially correlated ground motion models.
