Özet

Novel alloy development has been accelerated in additive manufacturing, with multi-component alloys garnering significant interest for their ability to facilitate high cooling rates and suppress segregation. When processed through metal laser powder bed fusion (L-PBF), these novel alloys can exhibit enhanced mechanical properties, provided that process conditions are carefully optimized to ensure structural integrity. In this study, a novel equiatomic CoFeNiCuMn high-entropy alloy was successfully fabricated by L-PBF. The investigation systematically delves into its phase composition, microstructure, and mechanical properties. The process parameter conditions were experimentally developed by analyzing melt pool stability on single tracks, the reliability of the material was tested on cubic shape printed samples, and the corresponding mechanical properties were related to microstructure by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and electron backscatter diffraction (EBSD). The alloy demonstrates 583 MPa yield strength, 730 MPa tensile strength, 137 GPa elastic modulus, and %32.9 elongation.
