Abstract

We construct an infinite sequence of smooth embeddings of #6RP² in S⁴, which are all ambient homeomorphic, but pairwise ambient non-diffeomorphic. The double covers of S⁴ ramified along these surfaces form a family of the exotic CP²#5CP² constructed by Park, Stipsicz and Szabó.
