Abstract

The presented paper concerns publications presented as part of XXXI International Seminar of Ergonomics. It presents basic information on ergonomics terminology. In addition, the development directions of the ergonomics research area in historical terms were shown. This is because, among other things organizing background for over 40 years International Ergonomics Seminars series in Poland. The second part of the text contains short descriptions of the research area presented in individual publications, highlighting their specificity and connections with the leading topic of human factors.
