Women's powerlessness has been studied as both a structural condition and a psychological experience, yet rarely together. This study examines how women in T & uuml;rkiye experience and interpret powerlessness amid persistent gender inequality and rising authoritarianism. Using in-depth qualitative interviews, it explores how women define powerlessness, relate it to societal inequalities, and navigate or resist these dynamics in daily life. By centering women's narratives, the research provides a nuanced understanding of women's sense of powerlessness, highlighting the interplay between internal experiences and external sociopolitical conditions within T & uuml;rkiye's shifting gendered landscape.
