In this study, a different semiempirical method has been developed to determine the beam energy, which is crucial point in experimental studies. For this purpose, the Bragg curve was determined both experimentally using targets of different thicknesses and theoretically from stopping power values. By comparing Bragg curves, the beam energy can be estimated. This newly developed technique is easy to apply, and no additional apparatus is needed. In addition to determining the beam energy, dose values have been also determined with our stopping power values and MC calculation code. From these values, simple formulization has been obtained for percentage depth dose (PDD) values, which is also crucial for planning the radiation exposure.
