Abstract

This research explores the symmetry in crystal growth processes to inform space-filling and stacking in the robotic construction process. The symmetry relations in crystals are examined from atomic to macro scale, from ordered to disordered to be implemented for modular blocks to fill the targeted volumes by stacking.
