Özet

The Pb-210 dating technique revealed a sediment accumulation rate of 3.5 cm y-1 and three distinct regions in the sediments - a surface layer with nearly uniform activities, an exponential decay interval, and lower region with almost constant low activity. There is a strong correlation between the Cr, Ni and Ag content of the sediments and the development of industry along the Golden Horn in the post-1960 period. -Authors
