Özet
Ti-6Al-4V composites reinforced with 1, 2.5 and 5 vol% SiC whiskers were fabricated by hot pressing. Testing demonstrated that the compressive strain-rate sensitivity of the composites increased with the reinforcement percentage, a phenomenon attributed to several different parameters.
