Özet

The conditions are sought at which an SIR motor can be operated with highest efficiency, while producing a desired torque output at low shaft torque ripple. The investigation is based on the simulation software that uses measured flux-linkage (V, 0, 1) and static torque (T, 0, 1) characteristics of a given motor. The variation of the shaft torque, torque ripple and efficiency of the motor Is investigated, while the control variables "advance angle" and "conduction angle" are swept over their range with a constant phase voltage. It Is observed that with correct choice of the control variables it is possible to operate the motor efficiently at low torque ripple, at a desired torque output The simulation results are shown to be reliable via experiments. A control strategy is suggested for controlling an SR motor shaft torque at the desired conditions.
