Decoding the Chessboard of Asian Geopolitics: Asian Powerplay in South Asia, Central Asia, and West Asia, Debasish Nandy,Monojit Das, Editör, Springer International Publishing Ag, Singapore, ss.471-490, 2025
This chapter aims to investigate the evolution of India's non-alignment policy and its impact on both global and regional dynamics. To achieve this objective, a qualitative research methodology has been adopted. The research primarily utilizes historical analysis and document analysis as its key methods. Historical analysis is essential for understanding the trajectory of India's non-alignment policy and its significance in the context of international relations. This method allows for an in-depth examination of the choices made by India's foreign policymakers and the motivations that underpin these choices. Document analysis involves a comprehensive review of the existing literature on India's non-alignment policy, as well as an examination of official documents, government reports, and archival resources. This analysis provides a crucial framework for grasping the foundational tenets of India's non-alignment policy and its evolution over time. Importantly, statements from India's foreign policymakers, international agreements, and diplomatic correspondence serve as critical data sources for mapping the development and implementation of this policy.
