Özet

This study aims to analyze the political practice of the Kadro movement in the context of the early Republican period in Türkiye. Examining the problematic relationship of the Kadro movement with segments of the Turkish bourgeoisie and landowners, this study attempts to show how the Kadro group tried to realize its statist projects through strategic articulations and conflicts. In this context, the ideological, economic, and political theses developed by the Kadro journal, their organizational forms, and the oscillation of these theses between nationalism and socialism are investigated in depth, and this movement is evaluated as an alternative version of the national socialist constructions that emerged after the 1929 World Economic Depression.
