Abstract

As a result of the increasing use of unmanned aerial vehicles in modern warfare, advanced anti-drone systems have been developed, making it more important to analyze threat assessment and jammer-angle allocation algorithms. We introduce JASPER, an agent-based simulation tool that allows testing and evaluating these algorithms in customizable environments. JASPER’s modular design allows users to integrate various algorithms, define their test cases, and measure key performance indicators related to their analysis. This paper also includes a case study demonstrating how an algorithm can be evaluated using JASPER. Scaling and sensitivity analyses demonstrate JASPER’s robustness in handling a large number of entities and provide insights into algorithm performance under varying conditions.
