Özet
The principle of the method of Rayleigh diffusion applied to the determination of instantaneous volumic mass and temperature in turbulent gaseous media is briefly presented. The diagram of the optical system necessary to use the method is described. The interpretation of the data and the main error sources are discussed. Experimental results dealing with the determination of instantaneous temperature and volumic mass in a turbulent premixed flame are presented and compared to measurements of average temperature obtained in the same flame with thermocouples. Different statistical methods of the instantaneous Rayleigh data are also presented.
