Abstract

This paper describes an aerodynamic parameter estimation procedure of store separation from an aircraft by using photogrammetric data. Full scale flight tests performed with a general purpose bomb and separation is recorded with high speed digital cameras. Photogrammetric analyses performed to obtain six degree of freedom separation trajectory. A MATLAB based parameter estimation algorithm and a flight simulation is developed by using the mathematical model that represent the dynamics of the store. The developed algorithm is worked successfully to estimate dominant aerodynamic parameters for separation phase. © 2010 by TUBITAK-SAGE.
