In this paper, a method to prioritize the transmissions by considering the Age Of Information (AoI) metric is presented in communication systems that are compatible with IEEE 802.11 standard. The proposed method includes Last-In-First-Out (LIFO) at users and a multiuser scheduling algorithm that uses the Multi-Armed Bandit (MAB) model at the access point. The simulation and implementation results indicate that the proposed method improves the mean and maximum AoI in the system compared to Wi-Fi. Particularly, the proposed and employed scheduling algorithm decreases the maximum Age of Information in the system more effectively compared to the related studies in the literature.
