Özet

Video has been frequently used in educational settings for several years by means of videotapes and CDs. For the past decade, online video case studies have become known as a way of distributing cases via the Internet. Utilizing digital video in e-learning enables real world situations to be replicated and reproduced. Digital video offers many new chances for teaching and learning, and it also generates different technical and pedagogical challenges. This study tries to review studies about video case based teaching and highlight the important points of video in teacher education. (C) 2012 Published by Elsevier Ltd.
