Özet
As integrated sensing and communication (ISAC) emerges as a key enabler for future 6G networks, optimizing energy efficiency (EE) of ISAC systems has become very important. This study focuses on the EE maximization problem in hybrid beamforming for ISAC systems. To tackle this complex nonconvex optimization problem, we propose a sequential quadratic programming (SQP) approach. Comprehensive simulations evaluated on a 64-antenna millimeter-wave (mmWave) system demonstrate the efficacy of our method. Specifically, the proposed SQP-based scheme consistently outperforms benchmark firstorder methods across all signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) regimes. Furthermore, hardware scaling analysis reveals that increasing the number of radio frequency (RF) chains may degrade the overall EE due to higher circuit power consumption. Finally, a joint performance analysis highlights a fundamental threeway trade-off among communication rate, sensing accuracy, and energy efficiency under varying RF chain configurations.
