Özet:
In this work, the inverse scattering technique of Belinskii and Zakharov for the integration of stationary axially symmetric vacuum Einstein equations is considered. It is shown that the solution of a different reduction problem enables one to apply the technique to generate the solutions of the field equation for nonlinear sigma models on symmetric spaces. As an example, the formulation of the stationary axially symmetric vacuum Einstein equations as a SU(1,1) / U(1) sigma model is considered and the one-soliton solution is explicitly constructed.
