Theoretical and experimental studies on premixed turbulent flame regimes. The interaction mechanisms betwwen a cool flame and a turbulent flow are investigated in order to simulate a thickened flame front. Non reacting but elevated temperature turbulent flows .are investigated in order to analyse the effect of variable density effects on the structure of turbulence
