The course aims to examine changing aspects of landscape architecture in 20th century and early 21st century
by discussing the issue through the newly emerging urban concepts. Besides conceptual discussions, in order
to understand the significance of landscape in the definition of contemporary cities, various urban projects that
were developed in the world and also in Turkish cities will be analyzed and discussed in the scope of the course.
