    Static and dynamic loads on spacecrafts; stress, buckling, vibration analysis in trusses, panels, and shells; spacecraft materials and manufacturing techniques; spacecraft structure preliminary design.



    This course is designed to provide an understanding of the fundamental principles and methods of spacecraft structural design and analysis. The primary objective of this course is to provide students with the necessary knowledge and skills to design and analyze spacecraft structures. Upon completion of this course, students should be able to:

     

    1. Design and analyze spacecraft structures under different loading conditions.
    2. Identify and analyze the failure modes and failure mechanisms of spacecraft structures.
    3. Evaluate the performance and reliability of spacecraft structures.
    4. Use advanced materials and manufacturing techniques to design and build spacecraft structures.
    5. Work effectively in teams to design and analyze spacecraft structures.
