This course is designed to provide an interdisciplinary understanding of space as a medium for exploration, innovation, and sustainability, covering topics such as orbital dynamics, spacecraft environments, launch vehicles, planetary missions, Mars exploration, satellite subsystems, space telecommunications, and observational techniques using both ground-based and space-based telescopes. Students will also engage with the evolving space economy, including new-generation launchers, IoT applications, remote sensing, and the future of space tourism, lunar exploration, and asteroid mining.
