This course offers interdisciplinary and critical exploration of early childhood education, drawing on
insights from sociology, psychology, philosophy, law, media, and technology/AI, architecture,
literature, music, politics, economics, and health. Students will analyze how educational spaces, tools,
and discourses both reflect and influence broader power structures. Through this lens, the course
invites reflection on how interdisciplinary approaches can transform early childhood research,
pedagogy, and children’s agency in both local and global contexts.
