The
concept of “Diaspora” has come a long way from its original use and gained wider
implications as an increasingly important non-state actor. This course aims to
provide students with an analytical understanding of the role of diasporas as
non-state actors in their interactions with homelands and host states as state
actors.The classes will be held mainly in the form of class discussions with
the active participation of and contribution from the students.
