Researchers need to add full-text of research outputs such as articles, papers, and theses through Open Archive Systems to increase the visibility of the studies and increase the level of citation and collaboration.

In this context, files added to AVESİS by researchers are scanned by international open archive systems such as OpenAIRE, OpenDOAR, and BASE Search, especially through the AVESIS Open Archive Module, and become accessible worldwide. Also, the data entered into AVESİS are scanned and indexed by Google Scholar.

It is also a legal obligation for researchers to pay attention to the copyright policies of publishers when sharing articles and books on AVESIS.In this context, the Sherpa / Romeo application, which has a publisher policies database, has been integrated into AVESİS for the convenience of researchers. The Sherpa / Romeo application automatically displays the publisher's policy of the journal in which the article is published, with the publication records added from database services such as ISI Web of Science and Scopus.

The legal responsibility for researchers to share the published article versions(preprint, postprint, and Publisher's version) in pdf format following the publication policies of the journals in which their articles are published.
