Özet

According to the eco-health approach, environmental and socio-economic sustainability profoundly affects human health, animal health and the entire ecosystem. This study includes the authors’ views on creating the necessary technical and institutional infrastructure for society to achieve a sustainable environment, health and development by managing and balancing uncertainty and disruptions. The authors share viewpoints on the emergence process of their approach, its methodological framework, the results it can deliver, and its interactions with artificial intelligence. Firstly, the authors reveal the main problem areas that need to be addressed, primarily regarding sustainability within the framework of the approach. Then, they present the theoretical background and empirical research findings, a non-linear link between the determined economic indicators and BMI. They then propose the core idea innovation policy perspective, which they assess can address societal concerns through the vital link between BMI, nutritional status, cognitive ability, and time preference. The authors have shown in their research that the relationship between all economic growth and development engines and BMI is not monotonous. These findings point to cognitive ability-skill development as a cycle that should be operated continuously for each individual. For this reason, the authors identify the core idea innovation policy perspective as the core idea of transforming and supporting the manifestation of the study’s findings into a technological and institutional infrastructure. At this stage, the sector of sectors practice is presented by the authors as a dynamic response to the interaction of the core idea innovation policy perspective with the core idea of creating the economic ecosystem and social infrastructure necessary for the cognitive ability-skill development cycle to operate uninterruptedly for each individual. The practice of the sector of sectors has a dynamic structure and is not static because it interacts with a core idea that includes supporting an active cycle. Therefore, the core idea innovation policy perspective and this emerging practice will significantly contribute to successfully coping humanity with uncertain events that may occur in the future regarding sustainability. In addition, the determined core idea for applying this perspective also has the potential to help identify any society’s technological and institutional shortcomings and recognize its industrial and social infrastructure capabilities towards sustainability. Besides, the authors think that if this practice is supported by “the uniqueness of humans” understanding, each individual can reach the uniqueness cycle level by operating the “to work/to create work” cognitive ability-skill development cycle. Moreover, the authors evaluate that if it is possible for each individual to reach this stage and to benefit from artificial intelligence appropriately after this stage, it is easier to reach the cognitive ability-skill development cycle level that can contribute to illuminating the darkness of the unknowns that each faces about the sustainability and other fields. This appropriate artificial intelligence will also enable each unique individual to interact quickly and properly with the knowledge of a wider area of awareness illuminated by the contribution of each individual of humanity rather than with the knowledge of a narrower area of awareness enlightened by the contribution of today’s minimal number of unique individuals.
