Digital Workplace Learning, Dirk Ifenthaler, Editör, Springer-Verlag , Bern, ss.167-185, 2018
This chapter is about Bilgeİş, a European Union-funded project, which aims to build up a MOOC portal promoting the adaptability of employees and employers to new social and economic structures via information and communications technology (ICT) in Turkey. Specifically, the focus is on supporting small and medium enterprises’ (SMEs) professional development by creating 100 MOOCs based on digital workplace learning and informal learning. By observing and examining the processes, documents, and improvements related to the project, this chapter explores how MOOCs grow in a digital workplace context. Outcomes of this project’s analysis and design phases are important, serving as an example of an informal MOOC platform for workplace learning and highlighting the development process of such a platform. Additionally, the shared experiences related to the instructional design phases, the successes and challenges of such projects, the needs of the target group, and the topics that emerged from the various data sources can provide different perspectives to the readers. Due to Bilgeİş Project’s uniqueness in Turkey, presenting the development phases of the 100 MOOCs can reveal some important insights for similar projects.
