Erasmus Project, 2022 - 2025

  • Project Type: Erasmus Project

  • End Date: December 2025

Project Abstract

The central objective of this project is to inculcate into and equip the actors of both academic and non-academic actors with

the necessary ethical awareness and foster their ability to think critically about technology and science in a way that

prioritises core European values. The values to be promoted are an integral part of the European way of life and should

permeate all fields of engineering and—both natural and social—scientific research and practice. The internalisation of EU

values by the young generation of engineers and scientists who will be shaping the sphere of technology, requires a

thorough and ongoing education based on a transdisciplinary and pluralistic approach and supported by innovative and

flexible materials. Therefore, in order to promote ethics education in the academic and non-academic sector, the project will

produce flexible education pathways ready to be used by university lecturers, students, researchers, government institutions

and companies without the need for any expert knowledge in technology studies.
