Proje Özeti

The Earth Commission hosted by the Future Earth Global Secretariat at Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences has five Working Groups led by worldwide experts and distinguished scientists: 

1. Earth and human systems modelling

2. Biosphere Interactions

3. Nutrients and Pollution

4. Transformations

5. Translation and Methods

Working Group 5 Working Group 5 examines the scientific and methodological issues associated with translating the Earth Commission’s global assessment into science-based targets for local-scale actors such as businesses and cities, involving a multi-disciplinary effort, also with global impact publications in Nature journals. The cities workstream is co-lead by Assoc. Prof. Şiir Kılkış and Dr. Holger Hoff.
