Proje Özeti

LLMs4EU (Large Language Models for the European Union) aims to adapt large language models for applications in five strategic sectors: science, public services, tourism, telecommunications and energy. The project develops multilingual datasets, model fine-tuning and evaluation methods, and resources supporting compliance with European legislation, including the AI Act, GDPR and intellectual property requirements. By covering all official EU languages, including those with limited digital resources, LLMs4EU seeks to help European businesses, particularly SMEs, and public institutions adopt generative AI. Coordinated by ALT-EDIC and co-funded by the Digital Europe Programme, the project supports Europe’s linguistic diversity and strengthens its capabilities in language technologies.
