Research and Analysis on Developing a handbook to support HE partnerships between UK and Turkey

The British Council has commissioned Counterculture to research and produce a handbook to support UK universities in establishing HE partnerships with Turkish universities. The handbook will address the lack of knowledge and understanding of regulatory processes and structures in Turkey and provide practical guidance for all higher education providers (HEPs) on the successful establishment of lasting partnerships. Although all types of partnerships may be explored, primacy will be given to research collaborations and dual degrees as these show the most promise. 

• A full integrated report in English that is succinct and engaging, including: – A concise, insightful, and engaging executive summary 
• A clear summary of the purpose, objectives, and key questions addressed by the study 
• Analysis of research findings, including a handbook for HE Partnerships in Turkey that provides a step-by-step guide and a detailed description of the relevant regulations, requirements, and approval procedures. 
• Case studies of successful UK-Turkey partnerships and analysis of how they were established 
• Suggestions for improving processes are identified in the handbook section of the report targeted at policymakers. 
•
