Özet:

A computer program is developed to analyze, simulate and compute fluid transients in hydraulic systems contributing to finding effective solutions for unsteady flow conditions in pipelines. This program is built up using C# programming language in the visual studio platform. To solve the equations in the software, method of characteristics is used for solving the nonlinear partial differential equations. This software’s main purpose is to find optimal solutions for a phenomenon called water hammer which has been a serious problem for hydro-mechanical engineers.
