Abstract:A computer program is developed to solve pipe network problems for incompressible uids. It is intended to run under the Computer Aided Engineering software package CAEedaTM. The nite element method is employed to model the governing equations. The accuracy of the program is validated by comparing the results of ve test case problems choosen from a reference literature. The good agreement between present program and reference solutions is observed. By using geometry, pre-process and post-process capabilities of CAEedaTM, as a result of the program integration, complex pipe network systems can be analyzed easily. Consequently, it may be used as a promising tool for pipe network analysis.
